Artist Statement
Joyce has a great concern of relationship between people and human identity. She started her art career with the topic about foreign domestic workers in Hong Kong due to her intense relationship with her maid. By making ceramics and drawing on it, she hopes to share her experience and feelings with people through art.
Artist Biography
Lung Yuet Ching Joyce was born in Hong Kong in 1992. She graduates from Hong Kong Baptist University Academy of Visual Arts in 2015. She has awarded the Academy of Visual Arts Award with her Honor’s project. She has been to the Maine College of Art in the U.S. for an exchange program in her university life and has aroused her passion towards ceramics.
